About The Author

Heidi Rocha brings over 35 years of expertise as a registered dental hygienist and community outreach specialist, sharing her passion for teaching healthy dental habits with children in her community.  

After retiring from clinical practice, Heidi pursued her lifelong dream of becoming a children’s book author. She has since written and self-published seven books, including her celebrated *Sparkly Smiles Series*—a delightful collection of engaging and educational dental stories designed to inspire young readers.  

When she’s not writing or teaching, Heidi enjoys life on her small farm in Connecticut with her husband, Joe (a talented barber), their two spoiled dogs, and five playful goats. 

She cherishes spending time with her two adult daughters, who continue to make her proud by living their best lives.  

In her free time, Heidi can be found in the kitchen creating delicious dishes, exploring the outdoors or enjoying quality moments with family and friends.
